Mike grew up in Corning, NY, has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Bluffton College, and taught for six years. He is certified in Camp/Retreat Ministries in The United Methodist Church and has over 20 years of camp leadership experience. He and his wife, Kari, make their home at Casowasco with their children, Ethan and Sydney. Kari, a former staff member, volunteers as the Casowasco store manager. They both grew up attending camp at Casowasco and at Aldersgate, and Kari's grandparents directed Aldersgate.

Having been a longtime camper and summer staff member at Casowasco, Dave joined our year-round team in 2014. Originally from Liverpool, NY, he is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam, with a B.A. in Communication, and brings many gifts and talents to his position.



Donna Morrison

Summer Camp Registrar

Donna is originally from the island of Guam. She has a degree in health care administration and has worked in a variety of settings over time, including a TV station, insurance company, and a medical clinic. Donna has four sons and two daughters.

Casowasco Food Service Manager, CRM Food Service Coordinator

John grew up in Savona, NY. He has worked in a variety of restaurants and food service establishments over the past few decade. When not at Casowasco, John enjoys spending time swimming, fishing, and playing with his daughter.

Housekeeper

Debbie has worked as a housekeeper in a variety of settings, and has been working hard at Casowasco since 2009.



Nairobi Smith

Ministry Assistant

Nairobi has been involved with Casowasco seasonally for almost 15 years. An experienced stage performer with the Young Americans and a drummer and guitarist by trade, Nairobi’s passion is rooted in music.

Iain has joined our year-round team recently, but he is no stranger to Casowasco - Iain was a camper for seven summers and then served on staff as a counselor for the last four. We're excited to have Iain's gifts on our year-round staff.
