We are excited to announce the opening of the Casowasco Classroom this fall for students in grades K-12! First day will be Monday, September 14, 2020.
If your students’ school will be doing fully remote learning, or a hybrid model that only has them in school some days of the week, the Casowasco Classroom is here to help! Each day includes space, time, and support for students to complete their E-Learning for the day, as well as engage in outdoor activities such as games, hikes, nature study, and more! Trained Casowasco Staff and Volunteers will provide support and supervision throughout the day, helping students with any technology or academic problems they may encounter with their work and leading activities throughout the day.
Breakfast and Lunch is provided in the cost for each day to make things as simple and easy as possible for parents and students alike! The cost per student per day is $35 and includes all of the above.
Students should bring all equipment they need to complete e-learning assignments through there school. This includes a device (laptop, tablet, etc.), charging cable, headphones, and any school supplies needed. Casowasco will have a limited supply of paper, pens, pencils, etc. for those who might forget.
Students will be screened daily when signed in and will have temperatures taken. Masks while indoors, social distancing, and thorough sanitization protocols will be in place to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff.
Parents are asked to register online on a monthly or as-needed basis, no later than Friday of the week prior. Parents with questions are encouraged to email David Wood, Program Director, Casowasco at email@example.com
