Open House: Day at CampOn June 10th, 2018

Plan to attend our Open House event this year and discover what a day at camp is like! Whether you are a family who is learning about Casowasco for the first time, or you haven’t visited us in awhile, this is the event for you! Meet our staff, come for some swimming and boating, make a craft, take a tour of the facilities, and sing at our campfire by the lakeside.

Sunday, June 11th, from 2 pm - 7 pm.

The event itself is free: the only charge is for an optional Chicken BBQ - $9 Adults, $6 Children (4-12). Free for 3 years and under.

Director’s Invitational

By invitation only: The best leadership exploration event around. Participants will learn to use their leadership skills for God’s glory. First time participants must be nominated by their churches or other local organizations. Alumni may register using the enclosed registration form and procedure or register online. For more information, or a nomination form, please contact us. First time nominee fees are paid in full by the nominating agency. Alumni may request sponsorship from their local church if they wish; however, there is no expectation that churches will be able to sponsor them.

Mother-Daughter AdventureAugust 12th - August 15th, 2018

Moms and daughters, come, leave distractions behind and play, talk, eat and laugh together. A relaxed schedule includes canoeing, crafts, archery, a tea party, swimming and the Blob. Mothers come away encouraged and equipped with practical new tools for your role as a mom, as well as good times with other mothers. Daughters come away with unforgettable memories of time together! For mothers with daughters 4-18 years old.

Father-Son Adventure

Fathers, come and spend quality time with your son in the great outdoors. Participate in activities such as hiking, fishing, canoeing and archery and sling shot at the range. Fathers come away encouraged and equipped with practical new tools for your role as a dad, as well as good times with other fathers. Sons will have cherished memories with dad. For fathers with sons 4-18 years old.

Family CampAugust 12th - August 15th, 2018

Summer is the perfect opportunity to take a break from busy lives and spend time focusing on each other and their faith journey. Family Camp is flexible – time to relax and enjoy swimming, boating, tubing, archery, wagon rides, hiking and scavenger hunts. Our staff will lead daily activities for the kids so parents can have some quiet time, too! [Rates apply to immediate family members living in the same household.]

• Adults and Youth, Ages 13+ $180; Children, Ages 4-12 $95; Children, Ages 3 and Under FREE
• A family of 4 will not pay more than $520. A family of 5-7 not more than $695
• Add $90 per person beyond the 7th member in the household

Youth Worker’s Training DayOn September 1st, 2018

Youth ministry is one of the most vital elements to a healthy congregation, and it takes skilled, dedicated people to make it happen. All adults currently working in youth ministry in their local church or community, or who are actively interested and pursuing a role in youth ministry are encouraged to join us. Guest speakers, trainings, workshops, and discussion will fill the day. We know the work you do is important and want to be a resource on your journey, so come join us for a day of learning and fellowship.

Quilt By Faith: Fall RetreatSeptember 20th - September 23rd, 2018

Join us for a time dedicated to providing women a quiet space away from daily routines to work on favorite quilting projects, connect with other quilters of faith, and invest in your relationship with God. Times of devotion, a visit from a massage therapist, a service project and lots of time to sew will fill your days! Skilled leaders will teach several projects throughout the weekend, and patterns for each will be provided in advance. Whether an experienced quilter, or a beginner, this retreat is designed for you!

Be Still {a silent retreat}December 7th - December 9th, 2018

Take time away from the noise and chaos to Be Still and listen for what God is trying to tell you. Experience a daily rhythm of prayer, simple meals, communing with God in nature, and spiritual deepening. We begin with a time of fellowship and introduction before our opening worship service marks our entrance into silence. Silence is not mandatory, but highly encouraged, as you seek God’s voice and calling. Opportunities for pastoral care and consultation are available. Come to the lakeshore this winter and be renewed, refreshed, and revived.

Camp EchoDecember 30th - January 1st, 2019

Campers will spend 3 jam-packed days cheering in the arrival of 2019 with the fire blazing and the snowplow ready. Play an intense game of Jack Frost, sled down the hill at Mt. Tabor, rock out to your favorite songs during worship, take part in the Star-Studded Variety Show, compete in the Frosty Olympics, and count down to 2019 as the balloons fall from the sky. Sign up early for the most rockin’ New Year’s Eve celebration around!
