Summer camp means sun-soaked days, cool lake breezes, crackling campfires, and most of all, the laughter of children and teens! You might ask yourself “Why camp? And why Casowasco?” Well…

• We’re celebrating 77 years in the youth camp business this year!
• We provide a safe, fun camp environment. Licensed by the NYS Department of Health and accredited by the American Camp Association.
• Our programs fill a critical role in helping young people grow by bolstering enrichment and socialization, developing 21st century skills, and providing opportunities for real leadership development.
• New friendships with peers and important adult role models help children and, in particular, teens grow in immeasurable ways!
• Campers and parents say Casowasco helps them make new friends, get to know kids who are different from them, feel good about themselves, try things they were afraid to do at first, and grow in their faith and relationship with God.

We have more than 40 activities (we call them “camptivities”) like swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboard, archery, slingshots, crafts, outdoor living skills, nature, sports of all sorts, wacky games, and more! Our staff are hand-picked, rigourously interviewed and background-checked, spend two weeks in staff development prior to the summer season…plus they love kids, helping them make friends, and teaching.
